Abstract

Teaching Arabic linguistically and literature is a modern movement in the field of
teaching Arabic to non-native speakers. Where the focus in this type of education is to
assimilate students into learning the Arabic language, its literature and culture, and the
officials in this program are committed to following a special scientific methodology
when preparing it, based on a careful analysis of the learners’ needs and not on the
special preferences of the teacher This research dealt with a kind of descriptive and
analytical field study, where it is clear in this research the concept of teaching linguistic
and literary studies, its importance, objectives, method of teaching and curricula. This
research aims to find out the movement of the language and literary studies education
program in terms of building its curricula and the foundations of its implementation in
the educational process, especially in the Department of Arabic Language and
Literature at STIABI Riyadlul ‘Ulum Tasikmalaya
