PENINGKATAN MAHARAH Al-KITABAH MELAUI PENERAPAN MODEL PAIR CHECK PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA ARAB DI SMA AL-ASHRIYYAH NURUL IMAN

Abstract

As students at the high school level, students are expected to be able to write Arabic well,
because writing is one of the four language skills that must be mastered. Even though students
are able to have a dialogue (Hiwâr) in front of the class between friends using Arabic, they are
weak in writing the rules of mahâratul al-kitâbah, sometimes they pronounce the correct
sentence but are not so optimal in writing it in Arabic. This study aims to prove the application
of the pair check model in learning Arabic in class X science at SMA Al-Ashriyyah Nurul Iman
as many as 25 students. This paper aims to find out how the pair check model is applied in
Arabic learning and how much is the increase in mahâratul al-kitâbah in Arabic learning. This
research is a classroom action research (classroom action research) with a qualitative
approach, the primary data source is observational observations and secondary data sources in
the form of reference books, field data and documentation. Based on the results of the written
test on learning Arabic through the use of the pair check model to determine the increase in the
maharah kitabah of the tenth grade science students of SMA Al-Ashriyyah Nurul Iman. This can
be seen from the written test scores in each cycle based on the acquisition of scores on the pretest with an average of 40.60, then after the pair check model was applied in the first cycle the
student's average acquisition result was 45.70, after that the researcher perform the stages of
the cycle in the second cycle and the average score in the second cycle is 49.60. Based on this
description, the application of the pair check model can be said to be effective in increasing the
maharah kitabah in learning Arabic for class X science at SMA Al-Ashriyyah Nurul Iman.
