URGENSI BIMBINGAN KONSELING GURU TERHADAP MINAT BELAJAR BAHASA ARAB SISWA KELAS XI BAHASA SMA AL ASHRIYYAH NURUL IMAN

Abstract

Students in class XI of SMA AL Ashriyyah Nurul Iman's language have different backgrounds,
especially in Arabic subjects, even students not only graduated from one school but from
various schools in Indonesia. Arabic for class XI students is a foreign language which most of
them have difficulty understanding. To provide understanding with difficulties and disinterest,
there is even a compulsion to face, it is necessary to have guidance and counseling from the role
of a teacher which is not always carried out by BK teachers, but subject teachers must also
provide guidance and counseling to students who have difficulty understanding the lesson.
Arabic, as well as his disinterest in Arabic lessons can be overcome with intensive guidance and
counseling by subject teachers to each individual student. This study aims to determine the
urgency of guidance on counseling interest in learning Arabic for Class XI students at SMA Al
Ashriyyah Nurul Iman. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method by studying
cases. Data was collected by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results
showed that teachers at Al Ashriyyah Senior High School followed the implementation of
counseling guidance carried out by the school. The implementation of counseling guidance was
very good which was carried out at Al Ashriyyah Nurul Iman High School during PJJ. Student
interest in learning is very good after the implementation of teacher counseling guidance to
students.
