PERAN APLIKASI TIKTOK MENJADI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA ARAB PADA MAHASISWA DALAM MAHARAH AL ISTIMA’ DAN MAHARAH AL QIRA’AH DI ERA PANDEMI

Abstract

Recenlty learning Arabic is not only glued to textbooks, but now there are many supporting
media in language learning, especially Arabic. such as the TikTok application media, which is
currently being loved by many people, both young and old. Besides that, learning is divided into
two, namely passive and active learning. Tiktok videos tend to be a platform used by young
people today to find out the latest information in the world and become a place to develop their
talents.Learning using TikTok is included in the category of active learning, where students tend
to be active in two Maharahs, namely Mahārah al Istima 'and Mahārah al Qirā'ah. Therefore,
many use this opportunity as a more effective learning resource. This study aims to open a new
method of online learning Arabic, especially in Mahārah al Istima 'and Mahārah al Qirā'ah for
Arabic language students. TikTok, which has been only for posting videos, or funny and
interesting stories, has now been created as a learning medium for Mahārah al Istima' and
Mahārah al Qirā'ah. This study focuses on using several TikTok accounts, namely users
@sirsyazwan and @afrinanoordin, these two accounts share Arabic knowledge in the form of
mufrodat, uslub, mahfudzot and Qowaid Nahwu. This research method uses descriptive
qualitative, with data collection through observation, questionnaires from google form. The
results show that the TikTok media account with users @sirsyazwan and @afrinanoordin is
very interesting and also the uploaded material is very easy to understand, so that students can
be motivated and easier to develop Mahārah al Istima' and Mahārah al Kitabah learning
